A whole damn whale just swam over and picked them up out of the water.

Puerto Madryn in Argentina is famous for its southern right whales. Typically, one goes on a whale watching trip to catch sight of them, but these folks may have discovered a superior method of whale appreciation:

The whale sorta parallel parks itself under the kayak, then floats slightly above the water's surface such that the kayak lifts fully into the air and its occupants freak out. Then the whale gently deposits the kayak back in the water and swims away.

I wish more than anything I could know what the thought process was here. I like to imagine our whale friend was being playful, or even trying to help the kayakers somehow. Or maybe it was showing off to the other whale like "YO LOOK HOW MANY KAYAKERS I CAN BENCH. DO YOU EVEN LIFT, OTHER WHALE?"
