The Cardinals aren't interested in making the Giants -- or anyone else -- guess their NLCS rotation.

The St. Louis Cardinals named their starting rotation for the National League Championship Series and will go with Adam Wainwright in Game 1, the team announced on Thursday.

Wainwright was roughed up in Game 1 of the NLDS, surrendering six runs on 11 hits in 4⅓ innings. The 33-year-old right-hander was let off the hook by his offense, which put up eight runs against Los Angeles Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw en route to a 10-9 win.

Lance Lynn, John Lackey and Shelby Miller will follow against the San Francisco Giants, who dispatched of the Washington Nationals in four games.

Lynn pitched well in Game 2 against the Dodgers, striking out eight batters while allowing two runs on seven hits in six innings in the Cardinals' lone loss of the series. Lackey was the winning pitcher in Game 3, during which he tossed seven innings of one-run ball, scattering seven hits and notching eight punch-outs.

Miller was pulled before he was able to complete six innings in the clincher, but the 23-year-old righty had his best postseason outing, holding the Dodgers to two runs on five hits.

The Giants have not named their Game 1 pitcher, nor have they announced any other starters for the series. Jake Peavy was the team's starter in Game 1 of their last series. Tim Hudson, Madison Bumgarner and Ryan Vogelsong also made starts against the Nationals.
