If you're looking for waiver wire help at tight end, you might be out luck, but here are some dart throws to try.

How bad is tight end at fantasy this year? Here's how bad -- Jimmy Graham had zero targets in Week 13. One of the few sure things in a position full of dice rolls and lottery tickets put up a goose egg at a critical time in the fantasy season.

That makes the tight end position even more of a dicey prospect when you comb the waiver wire. If a guy like Graham can disappear when you most need him, what hope do these others guys have? We just can't know for sure, so nearly every option below comes with a big, fat caveat. If you're relying on any of these guys this week, you're probably not in playoff contention anyway. Having said that, there is still a column to write, so let's get into potential options owned in less than 50 percent of Yahoo! leagues. If they disappoint in Week 14, don't say I didn't warn you.

Charles Clay, Miami Dolphins (49 percent) -- Clay has missed the past two games with knee and hamstring injuries, but he's been a steady contributor when healthy. Clay has been coming on recently, grabbing 17 catches for 141 yards in the past three games before his injuries. There's no guarantee he'll be the same when he comes back, but you're not looking at the tight end wire for guarantees. You could do far worse than a healthy Clay at TE2.

Tim Wright, New England Patriots (35 percent) -- Good luck trying to read Bill Belichick's mind. Wright caught two touchdowns and played on 61 snaps in Week 12, only to see one target and 29 snaps against the Green Bay Packers Sunday. The law of averages say that Wright should have his next decent game in Week 14, but Belichick has the most fluid game plan in the league and it's impossible to tell who will do what in any given week. Wright remains a dart throw in deeper leagues.

Jermaine Gresham, Cincinnati Bengals (8 percent) -- For whatever reason, the Bengals are maintaining complete radio silence on the status of Tyler Eifert. He's been eligible to come off the injury reserve/designated to return list for a few weeks now, but still isn't practicing and there is doubt he will even come back this year. That leaves Gresham as the undisputed starter for now. He's painful to watch on tape, but is still there as a safety outlet for Andy Dalton. Gresham caught five passes for 33 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which is about the best you can hope for as a TE2 option. Next week he'll face the same Pittsburgh Steelers' defense that shut down Graham, so tread lightly.

Marcedes Lewis, Jacksonville Jaguars (5 percent) -- Lewis is slowly making his way back to health after being activated from injury reserve/designated to return in Week 12. He caught just two passes for eight yards against the New York Giants but had a promising start to the season, getting 106 yards in the first two games before going down with an ankle injury. His TE2 status is still uncertain with Blake Bortles having his rookie struggles, but Lewis is at least a known commodity, capable of achieving that 3-30-0 stat line if your tight end position is decimated by injuries.
