Former Miami Hurricane and WWE Superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is staring in a new HBO series called Ballers. It's a scripted comedy featuring Johnson playing an ex-football player who now works as a high-profile agent. It's written by Stephen Levinson, who was one of the minds behind Entourage, so there's reason to believe it could be good.

Plus, The Rock is actually a pretty great actor but he's been in so many mindless action movies, he's not always had to the chance to show it. Maybe this show will be that chance.
