All hail Zlatan.
When Red Bull Leipzig and Paris Saint-German got together for a preseason friendly, there was one thing on everyone's mind -- who would get Zlatan Ibrahimovic's jersey. It was a stupid match that no one cared about and everyone would forget about in four hours, but Zlatan is forever, and a Zlatan jersey is forever.
The young American forward, who had just joined Leipzig, got the most coveted jersey. He was on cloud nine, until captain Daniel Frahn came in and rained on his parade. Apparently, Frahn had asked Zlatan for the jersey, but Zlatan had already promised it to Boyd, which is a no-no because the arm band and whatever other hierarchy of nonsense there is.
So Frahn, probably a big fan of baseball's unwritten rules, snapped at Boyd, "that was disrespectful."
Boyd apologized, but then Zlatan sauntered into the dressing room. Being the arbiter of piece and god of all things wonderful, Zlatan handed Frahn another jersey. It was a second jersey he had with him, and a dry one.
Zlatan had solved Leipzig's problem, and he had done so while making sure Boyd made out as the rightful winner because he got a game-used jersey. All in a day's work for Zlatan.
