Jamaal Charles has a bruised knee. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles has a bruised knee, according to B.J. Kissel of the team website. The news comes from head coach Andy Reid, and it comes on the heels of Charles getting just 14 touches against the AFC West rival Denver Broncos. Reid has faced criticism all season for not giving the ball to Charles, his team's best playmaker.

Charles has carried the ball 162 times for 807 yards and eight touchdowns on the season. He's also added 30 receptions for 214 yards and four touchdowns through the air. Against the Broncos, he had just 10 carries for 35 yards, and caught four passes for 24 yards. He was struggling, but he's also the kind of guy you don't bench under any circumstances.

Fantasy Impact: Nobody knows whether Charles' injury limited him on Sunday. Whatever the case, it's not expected to limit him in practice nor should he have any limitations on him against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14. Arizona presents a tough matchup, of course, but Charles is a must-start regardless of the opposing team.
