Roddy White has another ankle sprain, but it's not believed to be serious. We break down the fantasy implications.
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White is dealing with another sprained ankle, but head coach Mike Smith says it "isn't as severe" as the one he suffered last season. White is tentatively expected to return in Week 14 against the Green Bay Packers.
White suffered the ankle injury in Week 12 and missed Sunday's win over the Arizona Cardinals. He missed three games last season with the same injury and was also forced to miss Week 3 this season. White has 56 catches for 662 yards and five touchdowns in 10 games.
Fantasy impact: White has been slowed by injuries the past two years after not missing a single game between 2005-12. His Week 14 status should be considered questionable despite Smith's optimism. The Falcons play on Monday night so he'll at least have an extra day to rest. We'll know more about his status when the Falcons start practicing on Thursday. White is still a PPR machine at age 33 and he'll be an asset during the fantasy playoffs if healthy.
