Jermaine Jones is so Hollywood.
Jermaine Jones still doesn't have a job, as he waits on someone (ahem, MLS) to put a satisfactory contract in front of him. What he does have is a house in Los Angeles, money and newfound fame after starring for the United States during the World Cup.
And what is one to do with that? Meet celebrities, of course.
There was Paris Hilton.
Chris Brown and Tyga.
Charlie Sheen.
And Mike Tyson.
This is Jones' life now. And just the last five days of it.
The Galaxy don't have a Designated Player spot available, nor do Chivas USA, which means he can't stay in LA. But this is MLS, where rules are made to be broken and Jones needs to be afforded the chance to stay in LA. Make him a celebrity player, who can play for the Galaxy, Chivas or whatever team is in town to play the pair.
Jones needs this. MLS needs this. The world needs this.
We need to see how far Jones can take this.
