Some of the biggest names in the sport have already been banned, headlined by a pair of top-notch linebackers.
Every year, the NFL tried to crack down on players using performance-enhancing drugs and illegal substances of any kind, including drugs such as marijuana. This offseason is not different, and some players have already been nabbed by the various programs.
In 2014, there have been 10 players suspended by the NFL for violations, with some of the biggest names in the game on the list. Let's take a look at the information in the chart below:

One pending suspension is that of Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon. Gordon, who led the NFL in receiving yards last season with over 1,600, is facing a potential year-long ban for violating the substance-abuse policy. Should he be suspended, this would be the second time in his NFL career after being banned the first two games of 2013 for substance abuse.
