Cordarrelle Patterson has struggled thus far, but Teddy Bridgewater is throwing the football now. We break down the fantasy implications.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson had a solid season opener against the St. Louis Rams in early September, carrying the ball three times for 102 yards. Since then, he's had only one more carry, which lost 7 yards, and has not been much of a factor in the passing game. The second-year receiver was a first-round pick in 2013 and hasn't lived up to expectations of being a dynamic weapon in the air attack.

Patterson has 13 receptions for 181 yards and no touchdowns in four games. On Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, he caught just two passes for 38 yards. Meanwhile, fellow receivers Greg Jennings and Jarius Wright caught 11 passes for more than 200 yards combined. Wright, the third receiver on the field, caught eight passes for 132 yards on his own.

It's unclear why Patterson seemed to be an afterthought when Teddy Bridgewater took over, but he's still the team's most versatile offensive weapon.

Fantasy Impact: Patterson is too talented to be ignored, and Bridgewater looked solid throwing the ball in his starting debut. He's not producing to this point, but Bridgewater really could make all the difference. The Packers have a strong pass defense though, so Patterson isn't quite a strong start until he shows something. He has upside, but for now he's probably someone you can leave on the bench.
