Rookie centers can make an impact in the NFL and that bodes well for the Auburn star and Oregon's Hroniss Grasu.

Believe it or not, but a rookie center can make a big impact on a team. The New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers, two of the best teams in the NFL, are starting rookie centers in Bryan Stork and Corey Linsley, respectively. Linsley and Stork have gone a long way in changing the fortunes of their respective offensive lines.

That should bode well for the center class in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Auburn’s Reese Dismukes is the top player at his position. A four-year starter for Auburn, Dismukes is an effective run blocker because he can get low and use leverage to beat defensive tackles. Dismukes is also capable of getting out on the move and making blocks in space.

As athletic as Dismukes is, Oregon’s Hroniss Grasu has the advantage in that area. Grasu has quick feet and gets into his blocking stance in a hurry.

Both players will attend the Senior Bowl and will be able to prove their much better than the offensive scheme they’re in.
