Charles Johnson played well against the Green Bay Packers and is emerging as a top target for Minnesota. We break down the fantasy implications.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Charles Johnson is emerging as one of Teddy Bridgewater's top receivers. Johnson was targeted a team-high 11 times Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, catching just three of them for 52 yards and a touchdown. He came just short of having double the targets of Greg Jennings, who had six passes thrown his way on Sunday.

In total, Johnson played in 67 of 69 offensive snaps against the Packers. Both Jennings and Jarius Wright played in the game, but Johnson was clearly the top target. He also caught six passes for 87 yards against the Chicago Bears in the previous game. His playing time is way up from the beginning of the season, when he was catching one to two passes per game.

Fantasy Impact: Where does Johnson go from here? The Vikings offense isn't one that fantasy owners should hitch themselves to by any means, but he's clearly closer to being ready than Cordarrelle Patterson, has more in the tank than Jennings and is probably just outright better than Wright. He may be worth a late-season pickup at this point.
