Michael Floyd was held to a goose egg in Week 8. Will he pick things up against the Cowboys this week?

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd continued his up-and-down season in Week 8. A week after recording 47 yards and a touchdown on three catches, Floyd was held to a goose egg by the Philadelphia Eagles, getting zero catches on four targets.

Before the season, there was talk about Floyd eventually replacing Larry Fitzgerald as the No. 1 receiver. That hasn't quite translated into consistent production yet. Floyd has just two games with over 100 yards and never got more than 47 yards in any of his other five games. Through seven games, he has just 19 catches for 353 yards and two touchdowns.

Fantasy impact: The Cardinals take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9. Floyd has the talent to be a solid WR2 in fantasy, but it's been a roller coaster ride for his owners. Until he starts seeing more consistent targets, Floyd will be a massive boom-or-bust risk. He's worth starting against the Cowboys' secondary, but make sure you have enough reliable options in your WR spots to absorb a down week.
