The Dolphins wide receiver hasn't been able to keep up the pace recently. Can he step up in Week 12?

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace has taken a step back in recent weeks. Wallace started the season off with five touchdowns in his first six games but has only scored once since. He hasn't been able to top 60 yards receiving in the same time span. Holding Wallace back is the fact quarterback Ryan Tannehill struggles to accurately throw the deep ball. Wallace earned his reputation and contract from his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a burner with elite deep-ball skills. This lack of chemistry between the two was well documented last year and hasn't resolved itself in their second season together.

Fantasy Impact: Things won't get any easier for Wallace this week as the Dolphins take on the Denver Broncos. Their secondary allows the 10th-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Wallace should see plenty of targets, especially if Peyton Manning and the high-scoring offense can put up some big points early on. He remains a low-upside WR2 play.
