Jordan Cameron will miss Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We break down the fantasy implications.
Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron will not play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9. Cameron has a concussion and was ruled out of the game on Friday. Cameron sustained the concussion against the Oakland Raiders in Week 8, and it's another disappointing turn in a disappointing season for the fourth-year tight end.
Cameron has just 13 receptions for 250 yards and a touchdown on the season. When he catches passes, he generally makes them count. But his catches are few and far between, despite missing only one game thus far this season. Cleveland's offense has been much better than advertised, but Cameron has rarely been the catalyst for that success.
Fantasy Impact: Cameron is out for this game and should be considered questionable for the next. He's been disappointing thus far in fantasy and there's really no reason to expect him to improve. It's hard to imagine fantasy owners don't already have a better option on their team. With all of the bye weeks hitting fast these next couple weeks, Cameron might just be expendable.
