Both teams need a win to keep their hopes of advancing alive.

Liverpool travels to Bulgaria on Wednesday for a meeting against Group B co-last place side Ludogorets. The two sides both have three point and since the same number behind second place Basel in the standings. With both teams seems capable of catching the Swiss side and moving on to the next round, we should be in for a wide open game.

The Red's recent form has been abysmal with three straight losses in the Premier League and two straight Champions League losses. After last year's amazing run that saw the Reds nearly win the EPL fort the first time, nothing has gone right for Brendan Rodgers so far. Anything other than a win over Ludogorets is likely to just stir up more concern and increase calls for him to be replaced.

Liverpool's injury list remains sizable with Daniel Sturridge being the biggest absence for the club at the moment. The striker has been unable to play for well over a month and the Reds offense has been the worse for it. Several players are doubtful with knocks as well including Mario Balottelli who is bothered by a hamstring injury and Jordan Henderson who's been fighting an illness.
