Teddy Bridgewater is questionable for Thursday. If he's active, should you start him?
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is questionable for Thursday against the Green Bay Packers. He'll likely be a game-time decision after missing some practice time this week.
Bridgewater has looked great in his two games thus far, totaling 467 passing yards, 54 rushing yards and one rushing score in essentially three halves. Although, he went up against two of the worst defense in the league, the Falcons and Saints.
This week, the Packers will host the Vikings and currently rank fifth in pass defense. Defensive coordinator Dom Capers is likely licking his chops and will bring all sorts of blitz packages. It's likely going to be a rough day for the rookie.
Fantasy impact: While Teddy certainly holds the upside to be a QB1 at some point, this is not the week to use him. The short week is really going to cost him and teams generally struggle on the road on Thursday, the Giants' last week notwithstanding. He's more of a QB 15-20 this week. If Christian Ponder starts, you shouldn't use him in almost any league. But you knew that.
