Five wide receivers were taken in the first round of this year's draft and that number could be reached again next year.

The receiver class from the 2014 NFL Draft is already looking like a great one. The one for the 2015 NFL Draft isn't far behind.

This year's draft had five wide receivers taken in the first round and 15 in the top 100. Led by Kevin White of West Virginia and Amari Cooper of Alabama, 2015 could equal those numbers.

There's still plenty of games to go back over, but White has the narrow edge over Cooper, for now, because he's better in contested catch scenarios. White is much better at going up and getting the ball and catching bad throws. Cooper is far better after the catch and has proven he can be a threat in the short passing game.

Right behind those two is Louisville's DeVante Parker. He may only be there after missing the early part of the season due to injury. Parker combines Cooper's speed after the catch and White's talent when the ball is in the air.

Dorial Green-Beckham is positioned at No. 4 solely due to potential. He's sitting out the season after being dismissed from Missouri. There are a lot of off-field issues with Green-Beckham, but teams will still be intrigued by his size.

Devin Funchess of Michigan and Jaelen Strong of Arizona State will both be in contention for first-round placement as well.
