A consensus five-star prospect ranked as the No. 13 player nationally, the No. 1 outside linebacker in the country and the top prospect in the state of Texas according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Jefferson plans on making his decision with teammate DeAndre McNeal on December 19 in advance of his early enrollment at the college of his choice.
He has said that he plans on scheduling official visits to Texas and UCLA before he makes his decision. Official visits to Texas A&M and LSU, along with an unofficial visit to Oklahoma have already happened this fall.
In this 247Sports Crystal Ball projections, Texas currently leads with 52% of the predictions, with Texas A&M trailing at 42%. LSU and Baylor, respectively, each have one prediction.
