The Ravens could get their veteran tight end back in action after he returned to practice this week. We break down the fantasy implications.
Baltimore Ravens tight end Owen Daniels is expected to be a game-time decision for Sunday night's game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers after missing Week 8 with a knee injury.
Daniels managed to get in a full session of practice Friday after being limited Wednesday and held out Thursday. He is officially listed as questionable on the injury report, and should he play, it remains to be seen at what capacity.
Fantasy Spin: Even with six teams on bye, fantasy owners would be taking a huge risk starting the veteran tight end this week since the Ravens have the late 8:30 p.m. ET start time. Though the Steelers are giving up plenty of points versus tight ends this season, Daniels unknown availability makes him an inadvisable start.
Should Daniels sit, rookie Crockett Gillmore will be in line to receive the bulk of the snaps once again. In that scenario, he deserves streamer consideration in deep leagues.
