Washington is sticking with its embattled franchise quarterback despite another poor game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Washington head coach Jay Gruden confirmed that Robert Griffin III will be the starting quarterback for the Week 13 game against the Indianapolis Colts. Gruden said that there is "every intent" to start Griffin despite another poor performance.

Griffin's struggles continued in Sunday's Week 12 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He threw for just 106 yards on 11-of-19 passing with no touchdowns and lost a fumble at the end of the game when Washington had a chance to come back. He did nothing with his legs again, rushing for just 11 yards on four attempts.

Fantasy impact: His brilliant rookie season now a distant memory, Griffin has taken several steps back in his third year. Gruden isn't going back to Colt McCoy yet, but Griffin is not a guarantee to finish the year as the starter. His fantasy QB1 days are long gone and he's barely even worth owning in two-quarterback leagues. The possibility of a mid-game benching makes Griffin impossible to trust for the fantasy playoffs.
