Gates didn't do much for the Chargers electric offensive performance on Sunday. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

The San Diego Chargers were dominant in their 33-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Antonio Gates just wasn't a big part of it. Gates finished with three catches for 30 yards. He was targeted five times. Philip Rivers was lighting up the Jaguars secondary with his receivers all afternoon. Even with Ladarius Green inactive, Gates simply wasn't leaned on to pull out the win.

Fantasy impact: It was Gates' second consecutive game with underwhelming numbers. No one should expect Gates to build upon his three-touchdown Week 2 performance consistently, but his target count has taken a dramatic decline over the past few weeks. He's still a TE1 moving forward, but he's trending toward the lower end of the TE1 group as he starts showing a lack of consistent production. Expect Rivers to lean on Gates from time to time, but he may prove to be somewhat touchdown dependent as the season moves forward.
