Gore continues to perform at a high level. We take a look at the fantasy implications.
Frank Gore once again proved that his fountain of youth is flowing. Gore thrashed the Philadelphia Eagles with 119 yards on 24 carries and added 55 yards and a touchdown with one reception. Even without his one touchdown reception, Gore posted a strong 5 yards-per-carry performance for the afternoon. It appears as though head coach Jim Harbaugh followed through on his promise of feeding the ball to Gore more after just six carries against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3. The 31-year-old running back simply shows no signs of slowing down.
Fantasy impact: As long as Gore is healthy, he's a strong RB2 on any given week. He may not rack up receptions for PPR owners, but he's trending toward his fourth consecutive season with over 1,000 yards rushing on the tail end of his career. He has a tasty match up against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5.
