The running back had his first two rushing touchdowns of the season Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Miami Dolphins running back Lamar Miller didn't have significant yardage Sunday, and he lost a fumble. And no one will care, because he scored two rushing touchdowns in the Dolphins' 38-14 beatdown of the Oakland Raiders in London.
Miller ran the ball 12 times for 64 yards in the game, catching two passes for 3 more yards. He scored on a 9-yard run in the second quarter and a 1-yarder in the third. With Knowshon Moreno out of action, the running game behind Miller consisted of Daniel Thomas (35 yards on five carries), Damien Williams (23 on six) and Orleans Darkwa (2 on four).
Fantasy impact: For however long Moreno is sidelined, Miller makes for a fine running back, probably a mid- to high-end RB2 most weeks. If he continues to produce yardage and/or touchdowns, it will be interesting to see how the Dolphins split the workload when Moreno does return.
