Ryan threw three touchdowns for the third game in 2014. We break down the fantasy implications.

Matt Ryan completed 25-of-41 passes for 298 yards for three touchdowns and two interceptions in the Atlanta Falcons Week 4 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. It was the third game this season Ryan finished with three touchdown passes.

Ryan's second interception came at the end of the game, as he was just taking a desperation throw downfield with the final seconds running out. The Falcons played without Harry Douglas and suffered a few injuries to the offensive line on Sunday, only making matters worse for Ryan.

Fantasy impact: Given the injuries and the fact that the Falcons continue to show struggles playing on the road, this performance from Ryan was good enough to satisfy fantasy owners. The Vikings played well against Julio Jones and Roddy White, keeping the two wide receivers from breaking out for big plays.

After four games, Ryan is on pace to throw for over 5,000 yards in 2014. He might come up short of that mark, but as the Falcons defense continues to struggle, Ryan will keep throwing the ball often to keep the Falcons in the game.
