This week doesn't have many bye week concerns, but there are still solid pickups to make at the quarterback position.

Week 4 had some reliable QB1s on bye weeks, but that's not going to be the case in Week 5. Only the Oakland Raiders and Miami Dolphins are on a bye, so hopefully you're not counting on Ryan Tannehill and/or Derek Carr.

A few teams have finally figured out how to move the ball down the field and it led to some major production. For instance, the Giants were a lost cause on offense in Weeks 1-2, but Eli Manning was the No. 1 point scorer in fantasy leagues this week.

Eli Manning, New York Giants (owned in 47 percent of leagues)

As mentioned above, the Giants are actually doing things. Eli Manning lit up Washington on Thursday, passing for 300 yards, four touchdowns and one interception to go with one rushing score.

The Giants changed their offense to a West Coast system and it seems Eli has finally figured it out. He's had a passer rating of at least 117 in back-to-back weeks and has multiple TDs in each of his last three games.

He gets an amazing matchup this week against the Falcons, who just gave up 41 points to the Vikings. Plus, he'll get the Eagles, Cowboys and Colts in his next three games. Eli could be a top-five quarterback over the next month.

Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals (owned in 33 percent of leagues)

The Cardinals are just one of two teams with an undefeated record and they earned two of those wins without their starter. While there is some speculation that Drew Stanton could hold off Carson, it would be a bit of a surprise.

Palmer had a nice opener against the Chargers in Week 1, passing for 304 yards and two scores in the win. He was on the same page with receivers Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd and rookie John Brown, so he shouldn't lose his job or anything.

The Cardinals travel to Denver to face the Broncos in Week 5, so there should be a lot of points. He's a nice plug-and-play option if you don't like your normal QB's matchup this week. Of course, he'll need to be cleared of his shoulder ailment before he's a reliable fantasy option.

Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens (owned in 38 percent of leagues)

He made the Carolina Panthers look like the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, posting a sterling 137.4 passer rating thanks to 327 passing yards and three touchdowns. Flacco and Steve Smith Sr. have become one of the best connections in the league and he also has Torrey Smith, which basically gives him a chance to score a TD on any given play.

The Ravens have an awesome schedule coming up. They'll take on the Colts this week and then get the Buccaneers and Falcons the following two weeks. Flacco is a serviceable QB2 and has a nice upside, especially with the Ravens struggling to move the ball on the ground the past couple of seasons.

Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars (owned in 18 percent of leagues)

He wasn't spectacular is his starting debut, completing 29 of his 37 passes for 253 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Obviously, he's not going to be a savior like Cam Newton was in his rookie season, but the Jaguars are so bad that all the garbage time should help his stats. Plus, the Jaguars won't be pulling Bortles due to a blowout.

Their schedule sets up nicely with a Week 5 game against the Steelers, who just allowed Mike Glennon to beat them. After that, they get the Titans, Browns and Dolphins. If you have a bye week coming up or are in a two-quarterback league, Bortles could flirt with top-15 quarterback numbers over the next month.

Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota Vikings (owned in 13 percent of leagues)

His fantasy value is stuck in limbo right now due to an ankle sprain suffered in the fourth quarter of the Week 4 win over the Falcons. Bridgewater was terrific in his first NFL start, throwing for 317 passing yards with one rushing TD. The Vikings do have a decent amount of playmakers in Cordarrelle Patterson, Greg Jennings and a suddenly hot Jarius Wright, so he'll have some opportunity to get a big play.

Still, Bridgewater's inability to get the ball down the field could limit his upside. He has run the ball at least five times in each of his two games, which could help him add anywhere from two to 10 fantasy points per week. If he's given a clean bill of health, he's a solid high-upside stash.
