The Green Bay receiver now has five touchdowns in four games. We break down the fantasy implications.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb bounced back from a rough Week 3 in a huge way Sunday. Cobb had two touchdowns and more than 100 yards in the Packers' 38-17 win over the Chicago Bears.
Cobb caught seven passes for 113 yards and two scores in the game. He scored on a 22-yard pass near the end of the second quarter and on a 3-yarder early in the fourth. The seven catches were a season high for Cobb.
Fantasy impact: With the two scores, Cobb now has five in four games. More telling for fantasy, though, was his 113 yards. After 126 total receiving yards in the first three weeks, Cobb was starting to look like his value would be entirely tied up in his scoring, which makes for an inconsistent fantasy player. If he can continue to score like he has and accumulate yardage, Cobb could be a WR1 going forward.
