The New England Patriots suffered their second-worse loss under head coach Bill Belichick in a 41-14 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football. The blowout was so bad Tom Brady was benched for rookie Jimmy Garoppolo. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

The New England Patriots imploded on Monday Night Football, suffering a 41-14 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs. Tom Brady played poorly and the game was out of hand so the Patriots benched him for rookie Jimmy Garoppolo. Garoppolo looked good in limited action and the Patriots offense was finally moving. After the game, Belichick made it clear there is no quarterback controversy in New England but if Brady continues to play poorly the dam has already been breeched.

Fantasy impact: Brady's play has declined over the past two seasons and this game was particularly bad for him. Under Brady, the Patriots drives were punt, punt, punt, punt, punt, fumble, fumble, touchdown, and interception. Brady fumbled twice but only lost one. Garoppolo went six of seven for 70 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 10.0 yards per pass completion and finished with a quarterback rating of 147.9.
