The Saints did not score a touchdown until the fourth quarter of Sunday night's game in Dallas. We break down the fantasy implications.
Drew Brees completed 32 of 44 passes for 340 yards, two touchdowns and one interception Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys. Brees scored both of his touchdowns in the fourth quarter of Week 4's matchup.
The New Orleans Saints offense struggled against what was expected to be one of the league's weaker defenses this year. Brees and company are known for struggling at times on the road, but this was a poorer performance than anyone would've expected.
Fantasy impact: Garbage time can be a fantasy owner's best friend. Brees marched down the field several times towards the end of the game with the Cowboys nursing a double-digit lead. He hit Jimmy Graham and Josh Hill for his touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
Next week the Saints head back home to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Another promising matchup, we can probably expect better things out of this offense when it takes the field in the Superdome. Brees is a high-end QB1 once again.
