Vernon Davis left Sunday's game with back spasms. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis overcame injury in Week 4 only to leave the game with another one. Davis injured his lower back in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Davis finished the game with two catches for 8 yards. Davis' X-rays came back negative, and the expectation is that he will play in Week 5.

Fantasy impact: It's been a rough start to the season for Davis. Most of his production has been in the end zone, and he hasn't found it since his two-touchdown performance in Week 1. Owners will want to monitor Davis' progress, as he took a nasty hit that knocked him out of Sunday's game. Even if he suits up for Week 5, Davis could participate on a limited basis. The 49ers will host the Kansas City Chiefs next. Davis owners will want to hang onto whatever backup plan they've used for Davis over the past several weeks.
