Kaepernick didn't post outstanding numbers but managed to pick up a good chunk of rushing yards. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

It wasn't a pretty game for San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, but he got the job done against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Kaepernick completed just 17 of his 30 passing attempts for 218 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He added 58 rushing yards to his day. Kaepernick was erratic at times. He missed a handful of wide open targets and buckled under pressure at times. It was a day largely dominated by the 49ers defense. They held quarterback Nick Foles to just 195 yards and shut down running back LeSean McCoy.

Fantasy impact: His fantasy production looks good on paper, but Kaepernick had a rough performance with all things considered. Without his rushing totals, Kaepernick wouldn't have even been a top-15 quarterback for the week. However, it's Kaepernick's legs that make him the appealing start that he is on a weekly basis. He'll host the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5 as a solid QB1 in fantasy.
