A look at the schedule for the final Sunday of the regular season, with the AL Central, NL Central and one AL wild card spot still undecided.

We head into Sunday, the final scheduled regular season day of the season, but with both Central divisional races and one American League wild card spot still up for grabs, there might be a tiebreaker game or two coming on Monday as well.

Sunday's MLB Schedule

Time (ET)

Game

TV

Reason to watch

1:05 p.m.

Rays at Indians

SUN, Sports Time Ohio

Young pitchers like Alex Cobb give you the feeling the Rays will be back in the playoffs very soon.

1:07 p.m.

Orioles at Blue Jays

MASN2, RSN

Toronto is beautiful this time of the year. And both these teams have lovely uniforms.

1:08 p.m

Twins at Tigers

Fox Sports North, Fox Sports Detroit

Detroit needs a win or a Kansas City loss to win the AL Central

1:10 p.m.

Pirates at Reds

ROOT Pittsburgh, Fox Sports Ohio

It's hard to say what's better: Johnny Cueto's hair or his ERA.

1:10 p.m.

Astros at Mets

Comcast Sports Houston, SNY

Bartolo Colon. Need we say GIF more?

1:35 p.m.

Yankees at Red Sox

YES, NESN

Derek Jeter's last game ever.

1:35 p.m.

Marlins at Nationals

Fox Sports Florida, MASN

Jordan Zimmermann and Henderson Alvarez square off in a battle over the metaphorical future of the NL East.

1:35 p.m.

Braves at Phillies

Fox Sports South, Comcast Sports Philly

Alex Wood and Cole Hamels win-loss records: when bad teams happen to good pitchers.

2:10 p.m.

Royals at White Sox

Fox Sports KC, Comcast Chicago

Kansas City needs a win plus a Detroit loss to force a Monday tiebreaker.

2:10 p.m.

Cubs at Brewers

WGN, Fox Sports Wisconsin

Mike Fiers sub-2.00 ERA is probably as shocking to the 22nd round pick as it is to baseball fans, but that doesn't mean he didn't earn it.

3:05 p.m.

A's at Rangers

Comcast Sports California, Fox Sports Southwest

Oakland needs a win or a Mariners loss to clinch an AL wild card spot.

4:05 p.m.

Padres at Giants

Fox Sports San Diego, Comcast Sports Bay Area

Madison Bumgarner may or may not be starting this game. So, the element of surprise?

4:10 p.m.

Angels at Mariners

Fox Sports West, ROOT Seattle

Thank God for King Felix.

4:10 p.m.

Cardinals at Diamondbacks

Fox Sports Midwest, Fox Sports Arizona

Adam Wainwright is one of many (many) aces plying his craft on Sunday, but he might be the best.

4:10 p.m.

Rockies at Dodgers

ROOT Rocky Mountains, SportsNet LA

Speaking of which, although he isn't the best pitcher on his own team, Zack Greinke probably would be with any other club.

  • With the A's essentially backing their way into the playoffs, what should be done with the parts of the pitching staff that they didn't mortgage their future and trade their best offensive player for? Nico at Athletics Nation breaks it down.

  • Never paid much attention to the Orioles' Chris Tillman? Considering he's starting Game 1 of the ALDS for Baltimore, you should get on that soon, and Beyond the Box Score's Dan Weigel is here to help.

  • It's been a long time coming for Royals fans, but as Josh Ward of Royals Review beautifully articulates, it's been worth the wait.
