Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe returned from his fantasy hiatus with a good performance on Monday Night Football in the win over the New England Patriots. We bring you the fantasy implications here.
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe looked rejuvenated in the Monday Night Football win over the New England Patriots. Bowe was unstoppable early on, although he did cool off in the second half and did not find the end zone. Bowe was targeted six times and caught five passes for 81 yards. Going into this game, Bowe had only six receptions on 12 targets for 72 yards and no touchdowns. He missed the first game against the Tennessee Titans while serving a one game suspension for a drug charge.
Fantasy impact: It remains to be seen whether Bowe is legitimately reborn or if this game is just a fluke, but he looked impressive in the first half. The New England Patriots are giving up the least fantasy points to wide receivers right now but they struggled to cover Bowe early on. The Chiefs will travel to San Francisco to take on the 49ers in Week 5. They are giving up the fourth most fantasy points to wide receivers.
