Murray has now rushed for at least 100 yards in every game this year. We break down the fantasy implications.
DeMarco Murray rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints. It was his fourth-consecutive game this season with 100-plus yards rushing.
After four games, Murray is on pace to rush for 2,136 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2014. If he stays healthy, he will easily surpass all of his previous career-highs.
Fantasy impact: Murray was typically a second-round pick in fantasy drafts this year. He would be one of the first players off the board if teams redrafted today. Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan came to Dallas with a reputation for his passing game influence, but Murray is thriving on the ground in this new offense.
Murray has yet to play a full NFL season since entering the league. That isn't stopping the Cowboys from feeding him the ball, though. He has 25-plus touches every game. He faces a Texans defense next week that was shredded by Rashad Jennings earlier this season.
