With the Week 5 waiver period getting underway, here are five wide receivers worth targeting.

Only two teams are on bye in Week 5: the Oakland Raiders and Miami Dolphins. This is a nice relief for fantasy owners who had to bench guys like Demaryius Thomas, Michael Floyd and A.J. Green last week. Outside of Mike Wallace and maybe Brian Hartline, this week's bye receivers don't have much fantasy relevance.

Having said that, there are still intriguing options on the waiver wire. Here are five guys owned in less than 50 percent of Yahoo! leagues worth a look this week.

Brian Quick, St. Louis Rams (43 percent)

Austin Davis remains one of the least inspiring starters in the league, but he's quickly showed a rapport with Quick, who is emerging as the clear No. 1 receiver in St. Louis. Quick has put up at least 60 yards in all three of the Rams' games, and has a good chance to make it four in a row against Philadelphia's secondary. He won't be much more than a WR4 in most weeks, but the matchup is favorable here.

Jordan Matthews, Philadelphia Eagles (35 percent)

Matthews came back to earth after his two-touchdown performance in Week 3, getting just four catches for 28 yards as the entire Eagles offense looked lost. He still got seven targets, showing that Nick Foles will keep looking his way. Matthews' role can grow if Riley Cooper continues to struggle as the No. 2 receiver. The Rams' defense isn't an easy matchup, making Matthews a WR4 with small upside.

Allen Hurns, Jacksonville Jaguars (34 percent)

Stop me if you've heard this before: Cecil Shorts III hurt his hamstring again and he could miss another game. Marqise Lee is also expected to be out, although he's closer to returning. That leaves Hurns as an unquestioned starter again. He clicked nicely with Blake Bortles, getting 68 yards on five catches against the San Diego Chargers. One of the few legitimate deep threats in Jacksonville's offense, Hurns now has a quarterback with an actual arm who can get the ball to him. He will continue being a boom-or-bust WR3, but he has boom potential against the Pittsburgh Steelers' maligned defense.

Eddie Royal, San Diego Chargers (23 percent)

Yes, we've all seen this movie before. No, I don't expect it to end any differently. Royal won't finish on his current 16-game pace of 16 touchdowns, and he probably won't come close to last year's eight touchdowns, most of which were scored in an equally fluky streak.

On the other hand, the Chargers' run-first offense took a hit with both Ryan Mathews and Danny Woodhead out, and Donald Brown returning to his plodding ways. Royal hung 105 receiving yards on the Jaguars and could end up settling into the Woodhead role. This won't last, but if you're feeling bold you can ride the Royal train for a couple of weeks against the New York Jets' and Oakland Raiders' secondaries.

Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars (18 percent)

The injuries to Shorts and Lee also benefit Robinson, as well as Bortles delivering the targets. He got just 38 yards against the Chargers on five catches, but had 75 and 79 yards in the two weeks before that. Jacksonville's defense still looks like a massive work in progress, so Robinson and Hurns should be in line for more garbage-time yards in the foreseeable future. Playing the Steelers' defense certainly won't hurt Robinson's fantasy outlook.
