The Chiefs' wide receiver is likely to play in the team's Week 1 game against the Tennessee Titans. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Junior Hemingway (hip) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans according to Nick Jacobs. Hemingway appeared in all 16 games for the team last season catching 13 passes for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Fantasy Impact: Hemingway is in the mix to start the game at receiver alongside Donnie Avery. Dwayne Bowe will start the season serving a suspension which makes Hemingway a potential Week 1 surprise in deeper leagues.

That said, the Titans gave up the 2nd fewest number of fantasy points to wide receivers last year and the Chiefs are a run first team due to the fact that Jamaal Charles carries the team's backfield. That means Hemingway's output out of training camp might not exactly jump off of the page when fantasy owners check the box score following Sunday's game.

Any owners that start Hemingway should be doing so only in deeper leagues where a speculative upside gamble may be the difference between winning and losing.
