The rookie wideout appears to be over his rib injury and will get a full practice this week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. He has been in practice for over a week now and is on track to make his NFL debut against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Watkins struggled with a rib injury through most of August, missing two preseason games, but he appears to be okay now. Head coach Doug Marrone was less certain about Watkins' status when telling the media, "I think we're just going to wait and see, really, for the game. I think it's hard to judge right now."

Fantasy impact: Marrone's comments sound like typical gamesmanship -- a full practice on Wednesday is usually a sure sign that a player will suit up on Sunday unless there's a setback. The bigger concern for Watkins' fantasy value is Buffalo's run-heavy offense and the ineffective play of quarterback EJ Manuel, who didn't show much on-field production in preseason despite glowing training camp reports. Watkins is a risky fantasy play with only WR3 upside at this point.
