Terrance Williams is dealing with a back injury and missed practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrance Williams missed Thursday's practice due to a back injury. He is expected to be listed questionable for Sunday's game vs. the San Francisco 49ers. This injury comes out of nowhere and is just being called a bruise by the team.

There is little reason to worry here and the Cowboys are likely going to have to air it out in the second half of Sunday's game. Williams had a breakout rookie season and was able to leapfrog his competition, setting him up for a featured role opposite Dez Bryant.

He should be ready to go and line up on the outside as a deep-ball guy for quarterback Tony Romo. If his back injury bothers him, Cole Beasley, Dwayne Harris and Devin Street could get more snaps and targets.

Fantasy impact: Unless Williams sits out of another practice, there's no reason to adjust your plans for him. It's going to be the Dez, DeMarco Murray and Jason Witten show, but Williams makes for a solid WR3 in standard formats. Tony Romo should be starting in most formats, as well.
