More people own television analyst Tim Tebow in fantasy football than a guy who starts games for an NFL team. Thank you, terrible fantasy football players. Thank you.
We giggled when we saw this tweet:

We had to check to see if this was true: In fact, not only is Tebow owned in over one out of every hundred fantasy leagues, he was added in the past week in .1 percent of leagues. In one out of every thousand fantasy football leagues, somebody recently decided they wanted Tim Tebow on their roster. And yes, this is more than Henne, who is owned in .6 percent of leagues, although not more than Brian Hoyer or Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Tim Tebow will not score a point in fantasy football this year. He is an analyst for the SEC Network. No team is going to sign him, and if they did, he would probably be behind several other quarterbacks and not play.
The only possible reason to have Tim Tebow on your roster is to laugh about having Tim Tebow on your roster. Apparently, this is worth it to some people! That's fine, we guess, fantasy football is supposed to be fun and you are having fun, sirs. However, we think you are very bad at fantasy football.
Let's check some other players:
Aaron Hernandez is in prison awaiting trial for three murders. He might spend his entire life in prison. Even if his trials were to start now *and* he were found innocent, this probably would not happen by the end of the NFL season. The only reason to have him on your fantasy team is to laugh about having him on your fantasy team, and he was added in .2 percent of leagues this past week. He's even starting in .1 percent of leagues! If you're starting Aaron Hernandez in your fantasy league, you are very very bad at fantasy football.
Tony Gonzalez is retired. 1.9 percent of people have not figured this out yet, and .7 percent are actually starting him. To be fair, he was very good at football and perhaps you didn't hear about his retirement. On the plus side, people are catching on -- he was dropped in almost one percent of leagues this past week.
Vince Young got cut by the Packers after training camp last year. It's super weird to see the "GB" next to his name.
We salute you, terrible fantasy football players. While we hit the waiver wire for breakout stars, you sit back and go "loooooooool I just added Brett Favre hahahahahaha." We salute you, because you make it much easier for the rest of us to win. Thanks for the money and stuff.
