Seattle and Green Bay open the 2014 NFL season on Thursday night.

The Green Bay Packers are just 1-5 SU and ATS in their last six games as the betting underdog on the road, and they'll head into one of the NFL's most hostile road environments this Thursday night when they visit the Seattle Seahawks.

Seattle is a perfect 4-0 SU and ATS in its last four Week 1 home openers. Overall, the Seahawks are 17-1 SU and 13-5 ATS in their last 18 games at home.

Seattle opens the season as a six-point favorite at home against the Packers and this line has been climbing, according to sports books monitored by OddsShark.com

On Sunday, the New Orleans Saints visit the Atlanta Falcons as a three-point road favorite. The Saints will be looking to improve on the road this season after going just 2-6 SU and ATS over their last eight road games.

Atlanta also has plenty of room for improvement with a 1-7 SU record in its last eight games as a home underdog and in its last eight divisional games. New Orleans is 13-3 SU in the last 16 meetings between these two rivals.

In 14 games as an underdog of three points or less since 2006, the Cincinnati Bengals are 11-1-2 ATS, according to the Week 1 NFL trends list. They'll put that record to the test as a 1.5-point underdog on the road against the Baltimore Ravens, who are 28-2 SU in their last 30 games as a home favorite.

The Indianapolis Colts are 6-0 SU and ATS over their last six games against the Denver Broncos. Peyton Manning was on the Colts' sideline for five of those wins, but the most recent came last season when Indianapolis handed Denver one of its three regular season losses.

Recent trends point against another Indianapolis upset with the game in Denver this time; the Broncos are 16-2 SU in their last 18 games as a home favorite and Indianapolis is 4-19 SU in its last 23 as a road underdog. The Broncos were a 7.5-point home favorite for Sunday night.

San Diego is a three-point underdog visiting the Arizona Cardinals in the second of two Monday Night Football games this week. The Chargers are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games as a road underdog and 4-1 ATS over their last five Monday nights.
