The Northwestern cornerback moved his arms after prolonged medical attention on the field.
Scary scenes in State College on Saturday, as Northwestern cornerback Matthew Harris left the game after taking a shot to the head from Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg. Hackenberg was scrambling for a first down, and hit heads hard with Harris near the sideline. Harris took the worst of the exchange, and was down on the field for over 10 minutes receiving attention from the medical staffs of both schools.

It's unclear at this point what type of injury Harris sustained, but he was taken off the field in a stretcher with his head and neck stabilized. He did have use of his arms, so at least paralysis is off the table.
Matthew.

Harris' brother relayed to Big Ten Network that he is being taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Northwestern still leads Penn State 14-6 entering the fourth quarter.
