Davis Webb, starting Texas Tech Red Raiders quarterback, landed on his arm early in the fourth quarter against Oklahoma State Thursday night. He made it off the field and to the bench, where trainers gathered around what appeared to be his left, non-throwing shoulder.

After a moment, he left for the locker room. He returned to the sideline shortly after, at which point ESPN's Sam Ponder reported he's out for the night, with 374 yards and four touchdowns on the evening.
He was replaced by Patrick Mahomes, a former three-star freshman. Tech lost experienced quarterbacks Michael Brewer and Baker Mayfield to transfer during the 2014 offseason.
