I don't know if you've heard about this -- it's sort of flown under the radar -- but Derek Jeter is retiring at the end of this season. Thankfully, the Yankees have come up with a way to let the whole world know that Derek Jeter is the best forever no backsies.

Do you think it's weird to wear a patch honoring yourself and how cool you are? Because this patch will be on Jeter's sleeve for the next few weeks and beyond, should the Yankees manage to make the postseason.
Actually, now that I think about it, I would totally wearing a patch honoring me. Especially because it would probably feature a picture of a cake or a bag of Doritos. Those are the only things I can think of that would be honoring me.
What I'm trying to say is: we'll miss you Captain. Let your patch proudly wave.
